Privacy law, information security and AI, in one team
Privacy Solid is a Dutch consultancy for privacy, cybersecurity and AI compliance. We believe privacy is only solid when the legal analysis and the technical implementation fit together.
Our lead consultant
Our team is led by a certified Data Protection Officer and privacy lawyer with a strong technical foundation:
- More than ten years in data and cybersecurity, over eight years of GDPR practice
- Interim DPO/CDPO, privacy lawyer, IT compliance officer and TISO in government and finance
- Over eighteen years of hands-on experience with Linux, Windows and macOS, Azure and AWS, encryption and network security
- Ethical hacking, penetration testing and SOC/SIEM implementation
- EU AI Act advisory and design of on-premise, GDPR-compliant AI solutions
An entrepreneur, not just an adviser
Besides the advisory practice, our lead consultant has founded and run several companies, including one in encrypted mobile communications, and has led teams of dozens of employees. We know what compliance costs and how to make it workable.

Our network
For secondments and larger programmes we work with a stable network of DPOs, privacy lawyers and security consultants. For our managed SOC service we partner with a specialised SOC and digital forensics firm that runs its own Security Operations Centre and forensics lab.
